Summary: We had a really relaxing time here; sitting by the fire, using the hot tub, going for nature walks, and the beach is just down the road. The place had nearly everything we needed (if you want to cook steaks or something that involves cutting up, we recommend bringing some steak knives). There were also so many birds, chipmunks, and squirrels to see, and we also made a racoon friend that joined us by the fire for a brief moment!

Summary: Loved the stay here. The cabin was very clean and beautiful. It has the fresh cut wood smell that’s super lovely. Location was great and we loved the fireplace and jacuzzi.

Summary: Absolutely Fantastic! Was everything we were hoping for and more. The property had all the amenities advertised and the surrounding area was spectacular to explore. We will definitely be keeping this place in mind for the future!

Summary: This is a unique house, for sure! Tommy, the owner/designer really created an innovative space with lots of cool features. I like the barn door-type slabs that roll out of the way. And check out the outdoor shower with the water pipe routed through the remnant trunk of a cedar tree. Tommy was very responsive with the few questions or concerns I had, like my not being able to figure out the Jacuzzi buttons to turn it on. All ultimately worked out with that, and it was quite relaxing at the end of the evening. Also soothing was looking out the clerestory window in the loft bedroom as the sun slowly lit the pale trunks of the trees on the hill behind the house, with the blue jays calling to each other. Really enjoyed my brief stay on my road trip through southern Ontario.
